Plate and anilox mandrels in carbon fibre for your Flexo-Printing Machine 

Continuously increasing demands on Flexo-Printing have led to a series of revolutionary developments in the last few years. With servo drive techniques, for example, a completely new drive concept was introduced. The use of printing cylinders and adapter systems made of carbon fibre was the next logical step, leading to another revolution in Flexo-Printing. The outstanding material properties of carbon fibre (CFRP), compared with steel or aluminium, allow a distinct reduction of weight with increased rigidity. Because of this, higher printing speeds and better quality can be acieved.

In comparison to steel, the distinctly improved material properties, the increase of the natural deflection frequency, the high structural dampning and the low structural weight, lead to distinctly higher printing speeds and to outstanding printing results. Field test show that an increase of speed of around 40 % with excellent printing quality is possible.
